I got a chance to play along with another featured stamper challenge today. This week's featured stamper is Kokirose aka Patricia. She is a sweetie and has a great gallery. This is the card I chose to case. Rules are you must change at least 2 or more things. I changed the following:
* the image
* changed the stitching to piercing
* added the color soft sky and kept the old olive and black
* changed the scallop layer
* changed how my sentiment is added
I got a chance to scrapbook Friday and it was so nice. I plan to do a little more this afternoon. I miss scrapbooking more so I'm going to be fitting it into my schedule better. That may mean a few less cards here and there. I feel weird about not wanting to post photos of my kids on my blog. I see so many people do it. Am I just weird about this? If I shared my layouts occasionally, it would make it easier finding the time to fit scrapbooking into my schedule. Hmm.

I'm right there with you Nikki - I don't like to put pics of my kids up either - I can't exactly put my finger on why tho'.
Fab card - love the colours - the sentiment, the stamp, the piercing... all of it really.
Such a cute card. Piercing is my favorite thing right now. I am practicing! Thanks for the well wishes on my blog.
Love the card. Super cute sentiment. If you feel uncomfortalbe about posting photos of you children (NOT weird by the way) you might think about posting the layout before you add the photos. Or you could just blur out the kids faces using an editing program. I would love to see some of your layouts. -Molly B
I hear you on not wanting to put photos of your kids online. I don't think that's weird at all!!! I would love to see some of your layouts though - I love your cards and just know your scrapbooking is fabulous as well!
Hi, Nikki -
I, too, have been very hesitant about putting my child's photo out into cyberland. It's a very personal thing, and I understand why people do and why they don't. I want to share my scrapbook layouts and projects on my blog, but she's always the main subject! So I'm very confused as to what to do. See, you're not alone!
Hi Nikki! Great blog, and cool card! I just subscribed. I am a card maker but I tried scrapbooking this weekend for the first time and I am hooked! I finished 3 8x8 pages...I am so pround since my time is so limited but I was able to do so much. I have to update my blog which is very due...so much to do so little time ;)
Wow its brilliant what a fab card ,Dawnxx
Oh precious!! I've seen these sea critters lately and they're so adorable!!! I love that piercing!!
And I only have posted a few pics of my kids since they are much older. Even then, it's not often or with any specifics. So having small children.....absolutely I understand the protective feelings. I don't think you're alone in that at all.....and don't ever feel pressured to share photos of your scrapbooking that you aren't comfortable with having available online. You're a good mama......you just "go with your instinct."
Love the card!
I know how you feel about putting the photos on the web. I worry about it, but I try and not share too much. You could always put a blurry spot over their faces in photoshop, if you want to share the pages.
Hope you are well and had a good weekend! :) ((HUGS))
Oh MY! isn't he the cutest!
Come by and see the last installment of my mystery trip!
Cheers!
I totally know what you mean! I make it a point to not share any personal info about them, no names or details about them other than funny stories, but I do occassionally share photos. My son is a model (just little stuff) so his picture is already out there, but I still try to keep it to a minimum on my blog. Don't feel weird about that at all!
