Nugget Boxes

I finally got a chance to play, I mean stamp with my Papertrey Spooky Sweets stamps. I love how they coordinate with address labels (I bought some 1x2 5/8 inch labels at Big Lots) to make it easy to cover Hershey Nuggets. I decided I wanted to try making some nugget boxes since I've never made them before. I used a pattern created by Chris and posted on Splitcoast Stampers. Her patterns are great and so easy to use. I used the 1x3 nugget box. First, I cut out the box. Then, I random stamped the pattern using the Spooky Sweets stamps and CTMH ink and assembled the bottom and lid with double sided tape. I made the one with the white lid first. I wanted to try making a see through window for the second box so that you can see the nuggets inside. I followed the same pattern, but when I was making the lid I marked the underside 1/4 inch in on the top and cut out the window. I stamped the bat on a transparency and embossed the image. Then, I cut it out and attached it to the underside of the lid with double sided tape. It was so easy and so much fun making these. They would make such cute Halloween gifts. I can't wait to get the Christmas stamp set that Papertrey has that uses address labels, too.
