It's my turn to host a challenge over in the
Hanna Stamps Forum for the week long anniversary celebration. Today's challenge is embossing (dry embossing or heat embossing). I decided to use the Vintage Toys stamp set again. I stamped the teddy bear on white cardstock and colored him with copic markers. Then, I inked the edges while he was still in the nestability die. Next, I cut the layers. I decided to do some dry embossing with a cuttlebug embossing folder and a piece of wild wasabi patterned paper. After I removed it from the embossing folder, I sanded the patterned paper to highlight the edges of the embossing a little more. Then, I stitched it onto my kraft card base. I tied some red ribbon around my card and added my image using foam adhesive. Last, I stamped the sentiment in black ink.
Here's a close up of the sanded dry embossing. Remember to stop in over at the
Hanna Stamps Forum and join us in the challenges for a chance to win a new Hanna or Riley of your choice and be sure to check out all the sneak peeks from the design team.
