Birthday Monkey

Today, I have another card with one of those CC Designs' cute little monkeys. I love how I can use this image for boy or girl birthday cards. I started out by stamping my image and cutting it out with one of the large rectangle nestability dies. Then, I colored it with copic markers. I matted the image with a piece of patterned paper and a piece of cardstock. Then, I added dimensional glaze to the balloon and party hat before I set it aside to dry. I cut my card base and added my patterned papers. I stamped the sentiment in the bottom corner. Then, I cut another piece of patterned paper and matted it with cardstock. After adhering it to my card base, I tied a piece of ribbon around it. Last, I added my image when it was dry.

How was your weekend? We actually had some sunshine yesterday after 3 weeks of rain, but it looks like it's going to rain again today. Nice while it lasted. I need to get busy on my Papertrey entries for the GSS contest now. I have a couple things done and a few ideas that I need to work out.

Have a great day!
