Airplane Riley

Busy, busy, busy. So many things I need to get finished this week. Ever had one of those weeks that speeds by and it seems like you aren't getting anything done. Well, this is starting to be one of those weeks for me. I'm in charge of the Hanna Stamps challenge this week and need to get my sample made. Be sure to check the forum on Friday for the challenge. I also need to get some Papertrey GSS entries finished. Hectic, but fun hectic when I get to share the fruits of my labor. Speaking of Papertrey, have you seen the new sneak peeks on Nichole's blog? Love the new Plum Pudding color and vintage vanilla! Can't wait to see all the new stamp sets. Anyway, on to today's card.

You all know I love Riley and Sophie. Airplane Riley is one of my favorite Rileys. Who doesn't love a moose flying an airplane!?! I love that you can customize the banner to say whatever you need it to.

I started out by stamping Riley on white cardstock and coloring him with copic markers. Then, I stamped the image again on soft sky cardstock. I cut out my colored Riley and pasted him on the soft sky Riley. This gave me the great sky without having to color it in. I'm not sure if you can tell in the photo, but I also used thread to tie the banner to the airplane.

Lots of stitching and minimal patterned paper, let Riley be the star of the show.
