Papertrey altered notebook

I haven't made anything new in a while with the holidays and trying to get things done for presents. I decided to share another altered notebook that I made for the Papertrey Gueststar Stamper contest (last one, I promise! I just haven't been making anything new so I don't have anything new to share). This is another notebook from Target. The edge where the binding is is covered with fabric so you don't have to worry about covering that part. Just where the cream and flower patterned paper is on the notebook is covered with paper. I made the patterned paper using the Spiral Bouquet stamps and CTMH ink. The sentiment is matted on CTMH Hollyhock paper. The pink ribbon is Off Ray. As a last touch, I added clear dew drops to the flower centers and pink dew drops to the sentiment corners.

Here is a better shot of the Dew Drops. Hope everyone had a great Christmas! We had a very nice Christmas. I need to get my scrapbook table cleaned off so that I can make something!

Dreams are wish your heart makes

I love that sentiment! I made this altered notebook for the Papertrey Gueststar stamper contest. The patterned paper is created using Spiral Bouquet and so is the sentiment. The notebook is from Target. They are great for altering! Ink is CTMH and ribbon is Offray from Walmart. Sorry this is a short post, but I'm working on printing up my calendars for Christmas gifts for grandparents. I really like how it turned out and can't wait to share, but that will have to be after Christmas. Is everyone ready for Christmas? We're just about there, but nothing is wrapped yet!

Tis the Season Hanna

Hanna is trimming the tree today! This is the last of the cards I made with images I had previously colored. Hanna's dress is paper pieced. Her boots and hair are colored with CTMH markers (chocolate). The rest of the coloring is done with Prismacolor pencils and baby oil. I added liquid applique and fun flock to her boots. When I was making the card, I started with a piece of cardstock that I ran through my cuttlebug embossing folder. I highlighted the embossing by dabbing my Dew Drop Brilliance moonlight white ink pad directly onto the snowflakes. Next, I added the patterned paper which was matted on dark blue cardstock. I used the ticket corner punch on the Hanna image before I matted it on dark blue cardstock and put clear dew drops in the corners. I used one of the snowflake images from the Hanna Tis the Season set and stamped over it with my sentiment (Papertrey Ink). I punched the sentiment out using Marvy punches and added the ribbon. Thanks for stopping by!

Color Me Card Kit

I made this kit to sell at the craft fair (nope, it didn't sell). It includes 6 stamped Hanna images, 2 sheets of stamped Hanna stuff (miscellaneous things like handbags and boxes), 1 sheet of sentiments, 5 cards and envelopes, and 6 markers. I put it all in one of the clear boxes that the Papertrey stamp sets come in. I figured if it didn't sell, I could give it as a gift or use the images myself. Maybe people just didn't know what was in the kit or it was just one of those craft fairs. Honestly, do you think something like this is a good idea or not?
